The Parents and Friends of Betar Sydney was constituted to provide financial, structural and educational support for the Betar youth movement in NSW. We have an active executive of 7 members, including past leaders of Betar and parents of current members.

What Are Our Aims?

• Find and purchase a suitable home (Maon) for Betar NSW
• Provide the financial infrastructure to maintain the Maon
• Provide the financial infrastructure to maintain Betar’s other assets such as car and library
• Make sure that funding is available for the next Shaliach
• Advocate for and protect the interests of Betar NSW
• Provide manpower resource outside the capacity of Betar
• Provide continuity across multiple generations of Betar leadership
• Provide both a formal and an informal social framework for Bogrei Betar
• Connect current members of Betar to previous generations of Betar members.
